Nestled in the charming village of Stelling Minnis, Kent — just 20 minutes from Canterbury and 30 from the coast — Knowler Farm is a family-run haven for campers of all kinds.
We offer three unique camping areas:
The Family Wild Campsite, Buttercup (adults-only), and a dedicated Duke of Edinburgh site.
The Wild Family Campsite
Set in the heart of Knowler Farm, our Wild Family Campsite is the perfect place for families to camp, play, and connect with nature.
With wide open space, plenty of room to run around, and a safe, traffic-free setting, it’s ideal for kids to explore and for grown-ups to unwind.
Buttercup Campsite (Adults only)
Looking for a peaceful countryside escape? Welcome to Buttercup, our adults-only campsite at Knowler Farm — a calm corner of our vibrant, family-run site in the heart of Kent.
Enjoy wild camping or unwind in one of our unique glamping stays, all set within open green space, surrounded by nature. Wake up to the sound of birdsong, sip fresh coffee from our on-site café, and spend your days exploring the countryside or dipping into the farm’s exciting extras — from fitness classes to wood-fired pizza nights and wellness events.
Duke of Edinburgh Campsite
At Knowler Farm, we’re proud to support the next generation of adventurers with a campsite dedicated to Duke of Edinburgh Award participants.
Set in safe, spacious countryside, our site offers the perfect base for young people to challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and discover what they’re truly capable of — just as the DofE journey is meant to be.
Eco Facilities
Knowler Farm has a building with both Male and Female Toilet Blocks and several Showering Facility’s, The Wild Camping area of the Site is complete with Eco Showers and Compost Long drop toilets. The Site also has a communal changing facilitiy complete with Baby Change and Mirror dressing room.
Whether you're pitching your own tent or staying in one of our cosy Soulpads, Tipis or Shepherd’s Huts, you’ll find everything you need for a laid-back countryside escape.
Roam scenic walking trails, enjoy cream teas at the local windmill, or just relax while the kids meet our friendly animals — from Connie, Tank & Fern the farm dogs to our beloved Ella the owl.
